J i r o T o g a s h i
A native of Tokyo, Jiro grew up loving to learn and draw. Fascinated by the human mind, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology before moving to the United States to pursue a master’s degree in Landscape Architecture. Professionally, he enjoyed successful careers in both Landscape Architecture and Information Technology.
Since moving to Hokkaido in the aftermath of Julian’s death, Jiro has been re-exploring his artistic interests. He finds solace in integrating his art and computer backgrounds by creating and teaching digital art using Photoshop, Clip Studio, and AutoCAD. He also recently became licensed in Color Therapy incorporating his interests in both art and psychology.
Jiro’s artistic endeavors are quite eclectic, ranging from freehand and digital animation, logo design, promotional flyer design, and color therapy to original woodworking and furniture design. His clients and students have found him to be a calm and creative influence.
